Abstracts Submission Requirements
- All abstracts must be submitted via the online system. Abstracts sent via email, fax, or regular mail will not be processed or acknowledged.
- Abstracts MUST be written in English along with the format of CALPHAD 2025 provided and submitted by February 28, 2025.
- Authors are required to indicate their presentation preference between oral and poster by checking the appropriate box on the submission web page. The Program Committee, however, reserves the right to make the final decision on the type of presentation and conference topics.
- Acknowledgment of your submission will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the author who submitted the abstract. Please make sure that you receive an e-mail confirmation after making your submission.
- Authors may further edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors. Please send an email to us for the edit after the deadline.
- An acceptance of abstracts will be sent to the authors who submitted the abstract via email(info@calphad2025.org).
- (Important) Please note that uploading an abstract means that it is assumed that you will be the presenter of the lecture/poster and that you will register for the conference.
Formatting Information
- Use the template provided via above link.
- Abstract should be no more than 1 page.
- A biographical note of no more than 50 words for the first author should be included.
- Please do not change font, size, or line spacing of the template.
- Please name your file “abstract_calphad_2025_lastname_firstname.pdf”
- Allowed file extensions is .pdf. (Please convert your word file to a pdf file.)
- Maximum file size is 5 MB
* Please note that your presentation may be rejected if the points above are not followed.
Notification of Acceptance
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Program Committee according to standard review procedures. Notification of acceptance will be sent via e-mail by March 7, 2025.
Withdrawal of an Abstract
If the author of an accepted abstract does not register by the author registration deadline, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program. If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the CALPHAD 2025 Secretariat in writing as soon as possible (info@calphad2025.org).
