- A contributed abstract to the CALPHAD meeting (note that it should also be submitted following the abstract submission procedure).
- An application letter explaining their motivation (one page maximum).
- A brief biographical note (one page maximum).
- A support letter from the thesis advisor (one page maximum).
Rooms are shared by two people. If you do not designate a roommate on registration, the conference will assign a room at its discretion. In this case, you may be asked for additional personal information. If you do not agree to the room assignment by the conference, we recommend you to use other hotels near the conference venue. However, in this case, hotel expenses will not be covered.

The following excerpts from the statutes of the Foundation define what grants can be given.
- The purpose of the Foundation for Applied Thermodynamics is to support research and development of thermodynamic databases and software to in different applications benefit human life, work and the environment. This should mainly happen through scholarships and grants to individual researchers.
- Grants from the foundation can be applied for by researchers or research students who work with modelling, development or applications of thermodynamic calculations in the field of materials, energy, physics or chemistry. Preference should be given to purposes that benefits this activity at KTH. The purpose of the scholarship can be, for example, research projects, participation in a conference, study visits or funding of a guest researcher. In exceptional cases, funding may be granted for scientific equipment.

- Bank details (Name and address of the receiver, BIC (Bank Identifier Code) and IBAN (International Bank Account Number))
In addition, a CV or résumé (maximum two pages) must be submitted, clearly indicating affiliation and present position of the applicant (and name of supervisor if applicable).
Applications not conforming to these requirements will not be considered.
The grant shall be spent within the period 1st of April 2025 to 31st of March 2026, and a written report shall be submitted to the Foundation.
Applications shall have reached the Foundation no later than 31st of January 2025.
